After a summer of consultation, tweaks and trials, the new British Standard for sustainable event management launched yesterday at The Brewery in central London. Seventeen were there with a fantastic display of some of our previous events and loads of carrots for everyone who came to visit us. This wasn’t a reflection on the catering, but rather a point we’ve been trying to make for a while - that sometimes a carrot works better than a stick. We believe that our approach to sustainable events, creating events with style, substance and sustainability, shows consumers and clients that being responsible doesn’t mean settling for second best. As part of a celebration of our compliance with BS8901 we’re going to be sharing some of our sustainable expertise on our site - check out our new BS 8901 page.
