The Great Place to Work Institute European Conference 2008 attracted delegates from across Europe. They gathered in London to celebrate and share best practice with companies who had been judged to be the best in their fields in terms of their HR and personnel policies. Seventeen had responsibility for sourcing a suitable venue and liaising with all suppliers appointed for the event. This included technical production and AV, catering, and other amenities for delegates. The conference included break out sessions and interactive question times. Each table had its own screen and keyboard with which they could ask questions directly to the chair.

As well as ensuring the smooth running of the conference, Seventeen also ensured the highest possible standards of sustainability at the event. Some of the initiatives we developed included delegate packs produced from 100% recycled materials and sustainable pop up banners as an alternative to traditional vinyl branding.

This project was managed in compliance with BS8901, the British Standard for sustainable event management.

“It was a pleasure working with your team. I think your team should have a huge part of the credit for the success of the conference.” - Palle Ellemann Knudsen, Managing Director, Great Place to Work Institute
