Seventeen organised the first ever ethical awards run by a national newspaper. Seventeen managed the entire awards process from marketing the awards, receiving entries, running the judging process (including bringing celebrity judge Woody Harrelson on board), and organising the awards party itself.
The event took place at LSO St Luke’s, a stunning converted Hawksmoor church in London. Seventeen ensured that all elements of the event design were as ethical as possible. For example, the seating, backdrop and banners were made from recycled and recyclable card; the lighting was provided by low level LED batons or solar powered lights; the goody bags were recycled, the car service was eco friendly and the trophies were produced from sustainable materials.
