BBC Box Clever
Many visitors to Seventeen HQ are intrigued by our offices which are made out of shipping containers. The site, Container City, is actually a very effective use of these containers which otherwise would be scrapped. The BBC have carried out a 6 month long ‘box’ project, following one specific container around the world as it delivers Scotch whisky to Shanghai, and coat hangers and pegs back to Europe, with plenty of stop offs (and delays) in between. Their website has plenty of container facts, films and even a template to build your own box for anyone curious about containers.
