What is BS8901? Is it the single-track road from Portsoy to Fordyce? Is it the secret government codename for the ninth moon of Saturn? Is it the stuff that makes Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups taste so good?
It’s much more exciting than that. It is in fact the British Standard for sustainable event management, produced by BSI British Standards. We are delighted that Seventeen are going to be involved in the trial, assessing our work for The Guardian and Observer on the Innocent Village Fete. This is a really exciting process for us, as the Standard is right up our street – helping our clients to see the value of making their events sustainable and proving that we’re walking the walk as well as talking the talk. We’ll have more news soon on our progress and the results of the trial.
