Green Canary Day
Canary Wharf held its annual Green Canary Day on Tuesday. It aimed to encourage businesses and individuals to go green, with a variety of exhibitions with recycled furniture; clothing; mobile phones; office supplies; ethical plants and home products. HSBC (the first carbon neutral bank)Â had a great competition to see who could power the most electrical products using a cycling machine. With many people criticising Canary Wharf for being a concrete monstrosity it’s good to see some big businesses and individuals trying to make a difference. Here’s one of the best!
