Hackney ’sending off’ outdoor art
Hip East London gallery, Seventeen, (no relation!), are hosting this interesting art installation over the weekend. The anonymous artists collective CutUp will be creating a selection of sculptures, sound and film installations, re-ordered billboards and bus shelter works across the Hackney Wick area. The idea is that as this location is about to undergo huge change with the Olympics regeneration, all the current creative and curious happenings will be under threat. This exhibition will celebrate the area as it is, and give it a good send off to it’s unknowable future.
