High expectations
As this will be my first Christmas is London I feel I may be disappointed that it will not be the fairy tale that I have come to expect from annual viewing of such films as Bridget Jones, Love Actually and of course A (Muppet) Christmas Carol!
Out here at Trinity Buoy Wharf we shall be getting in the festive mood tonight with an Open Studio evening for all to come and have a glass of rum, cranberry & orange (the contemporary mulled wine), I have even put on my Christmas sweater and the decorations will be put up a little later. However I fear this may not be enough to to reach my high expectations; despite the exclusivity of our gathering I think Hugh Grant and Colin Firth and the rest of the Brit actors I associate with Yuletide will probably be busy doing other things.
I will have to get used to real London at Christmas with my yearly dose of romance and goodwill remaining on screen and in the fairy tales. If only for a little snow.
