Mexican with a hint of Spice and Sustainability!

I went for a fantastic meal on Sunday at the new Wahaca restaurant in Covent Garden. The restaurant has a market style feel to it and the food nicely compliments the market ethos; the fish comes from certified sustainable fisheries, the chicken and pork are free range and all sourced from the UK. Even the menus are ethical, they are printed on Chlorine free, 100% recycled paper using vegetable oil based inks! The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, with excellent service and a hugely varied menu, they even have pork scratchings and guacamole, slightly wrong and not to everyone’s taste but surprisingly good! With the bill instead of your usual mints I received a mini pack of Jalapeno seeds ready to plant – genius! I will definitely be going backa to Wahaca!
