Observer ethical awards shortlist
After a fantastic lunch with our celeb filled judging panel, we can finally announce the riders and runners for this year’s Observer Ethical Awards. Alistair McGowan, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Emily Eavis, David James and a host of ethical experts have selected a great list of ethical pioneers representing the best in fashion, invention, conservation, campaigning and DIY initiatives to inspire and educate you. And nearly 7000 Observer readers have voted for their favourite shops, campaigners and politicians. The shortlist can be viewed here and, of course, Seventeen are working hard to make sure the winners are announced at an ethical party to remember!
