Prada but not as we know it

The Seventeen Gallery* are hosting an interesting exhibition by Ana Prada right now. Prada takes ordinary household items and transforms them into art – her current exhibition includes tea bags, hair rollers and toilet rolls (see below). Not actually billed as recycled art, it’s definitely an interesting use of consumer products in art.

Also at Seventeen is Bill Drummond’s latest performance work The17 – exploring our relationship with music as a ‘dated medium’ and challenging what music can be in the 21st century. Not sure I really get this one – if anyone makes it along to see it please let me know what happens!

*No relation, but also based in East London and always up to something interesting!
