Seasonal offerings

I went along to my local farmers market on Sunday, conveniently positioned at the end of my road, it is a great place to find British produced meat, dairy and veg goods. With it being Autumn there was a fantastic array of pumpkins and squashes on display – much more vibrant and interesting than my local supermarket choice. Which, for the most part end up being hollowed out, carved and propped on a doorstep. There is so much more to be made from the these hearty vegetables; liquidized into soup, mashed, roasted or made into a pie. Delicious!
