SEL, CIPD and JOEL
A busy couple of weeks here at Seventeen – we did a great event for Social Enterprise London on Monday showcasing some amazing talent. I couldn’t believe the confidence of some of our young performers – really inspiring stuff. Special thanks to Claire for doing such a top notch job on this one.
Next week we have the annual CIPD Awards in the City with a mystery host (who can it be?!) and some very entertaining entertainment. George Formby, that’s all I’m saying.
Finally, a huge transatlantic “Holy Smokes!!” to our favourite Canadian Joel Plaskett. Joel and his band the Emergency (including the amazing Dave Marsh) will be supporting Paul McCartney – yes, PAUL MCCARTNEY – in Halifax in July. Wish we could be there. Rock out for us Joel and Dave!
