Seventeen’s new company vehicle?
I tried out a very eco friendly vehicle at the weekend – an iconic 1980s Sinclair C5. It’s surprisingly easy to steer and can pick up quite a pace, even with just pedal power. It’s also battery powered and can reach up to 15mph – so could have easily beaten the Segway to be the cool run-around for urban use. There were lots of criticisms when the C5 launched – mostly about safety and power (and some even thought it looked stupid)… But I think it was a lost gem and should be resurrected in the name of eco friendly travelling.
