Surf and turf
I’ve just had some pictures through showing what became of the turf from our recent LSBU Village fete. After an afternoon helping transform an urban Elephant and Castle street into a rural idyll for an afternoon, the turf set off to its new home at the community farm at Lambourne End Outdoor Centre in Essex. Farm manager Tony had some keen volunteers from Credit Suisse along to help lay the turf in their pony paddock, along with the character below who lent a paw. We might not have appreciated all the summer rain recently, but it will have made the turf happy!
