Today Was Fun
I had a relaxing morning today enjoying a pot of delicious green tea with Sharyn Wortman, CEO and tea lady at Today Was Fun. We first came across Today Was Fun during the judging for the Green Awards (they later won the award for Best Use of Copy) when they entered their Green Green Tea. The judges loved the quirky copy on the packaging, and we were intrigued to find that the company had a very staff-friendly working policy – they all have Fridays off. Now that’s what I call a progressive business!
Sharyn set up Today Was Fun five years ago after deciding that the world of advertising had no more left to offer her… but what to do next? It all started with a small batch of tea sold in a local shop, and now their teas are sold in stores up and down the country, with further expansion planned for the coming year. As well as winning a fistful of awards in 2006, Green Green Tea is also certified as organic by the Soil Association, and is even carbon neutral. Most importantly – it tastes fantastic! Look out for Today Was Fun’s range next time you fancy a nice pot of tea and don’t be surprised if they pick up more awards in 2007…
